This activity focused on strengthening the capacities of youth mediators and conflict mitigation groups in Yemen through an integrated approach that responded to their needs and the local context. Participants were carefully selected based on criteria including experience, community acceptance, and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.

The activity included conducting a needs assessment, developing a practical guide for local mediation, and delivering specialized trainings that combined theoretical knowledge with practical application through simulations and field-based practice. It also provided mentoring and guidance by experienced mediators, alongside the adoption of continuous learning and evaluation mechanisms.

The activity aimed to equip youth mediators with the skills and tools necessary to analyze the root causes of conflicts and address them effectively, strengthen their role in leading community dialogues, and contribute to promoting peace and stability.
