YOUTH VOICES BLOG

Tell Us Your Story

Your experience matters, and your voice deserves to be heard.

The Youth Voices Blog is a space for young people across Yemen to tell their own stories — in their own words. Your story might be about something you achieved, something difficult you lived through, something that changed you, or simply an opinion you believe people need to hear.

An editorial team will help shape your words into a polished article without changing your meaning or voice.

Your Story

Set the scene for someone who does not know you. Where were you living, who was around you, and what was weighing on you? Describe one specific moment or day rather than speaking only in general.

Minimum 50 characters. The counter is for guidance and technical validation, not a word limit.

Tell it step by step, as if you were telling a friend. Who was there? What was said or done? Describe a conversation, decision, piece of news or moment you will never forget.

What made it difficult? Was there a point when you nearly gave up? Tell us what you said to yourself, who helped, and any words you still remember.

What is different now? What can you do today that you could not do before? Explain how it affected your family, friends or community.
